Nice Weather for Ducks

Sorry for the radio silence, I have had all of my time taken up with moving house and editing wedding photos. On the upside it was one of the good kinds of wedding where they feed their photographer (take note engaged people) and I must say they had some of the best place names holders I've ever seen.

Seasons in the Sun

I was in the process of trying to bring some order to my 1TB photo hard drive when I came across this shot that I took a couple of summers ago. 

I don't know the people in the photo, I was merely following them out of the park (not as sinister as it sounds) and thought it was a lovely father and son moment. 

Shame that as I look out of the window the weather doesn't quite match the weather in this photo.

Steal My Sunshine

I hope everyone enjoyed the unprecedentedly hot weekend. Personally I got burnt to a crisp on an unexpected trip to the beach. I knew there was a reason I prefer snowboarding to sunbathing. 

Going Up!

My girlfriend and I recently visited the National Gallery to see the Mick Jagger exhibition. I snapped this shot while we were in the lift trying to find the correct floor (Level 0! What does that mean?).

I converted it to black and white as it was pretty much monochrome already but left the little floor number in red for a splash of colour. I like the contrast of the two faces, she looks up into the light as if about to be abducted while Jimi looks down to his guitar.
